About Jessica Walker

Dr. Walker was born and raised in Cancun, Mexico, where she was inspired by her family doctor pursue a career in medicine, which allows her to serve in her community.

Walker is excited to work with women in all stages of their lives to provide them with compassionate obstetric and gynecologic care. As a bilingual physician, Walker has a passion for caring for Spanish speaking families in the region. “Often, language can be a barrier to care,” said Walker. “Miscommunication can have a negative impact to the cost and quality of care. I’m happy I can fill that void, improving their access to care, their overall satisfaction, and their clinical outcomes.”

Walker enjoys caring for adolescent women and she believes that a strong partnership early in life between a young woman and an OBGYN can be critical to their overall health and wellbeing. “The adolescent stage in a young woman’s life is unique and comes with unique challenges,” Walker says. “Having a trusted physician to have transparent, honest conversations with can make the biggest difference in their life,” said Walker.

“Everyone needs a health partner for life they can rely on,” said Walker. “I have the honor to care for women of in every stage of life and help provide the best care I can, creating a positive outcome for all patients.” said Walker.

Walker received her doctorate degree and completed her residency at East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, Tenn.

Walker enjoys spending quality time with her husband and her two daughters in their mountain cabin. They all enjoy an active lifestyle and love outdoor activities including hiking and soccer.
